Finding Life Prov. 8:35-36
35. For whoever finds me (Wisdom) finds life, And obtains favor from the LORD: 36 But he who sins against me wrongs his own soul; All those who hate me love death.”
I have a beautiful healthy family and a good wife to me and mother to my kids.
I recently got a really nice 1966 mustang that is just great. I have worked really hard at fixing it up for car shows etc… and it is really looking nice.
I have had some great measure of success in my life with my businesses. I have some nice things etc…
I also am pretty healthy for a 46 year old guy.
I have a few true good friends.
I have a Terrific mother who is aging beautifully and is in great shape and is happy.
I have some great employees that have my business best interest at heart.
SO… with all that, you would think that I am the happiest man in the world right?
Well… there are times when I am. But I am only as happy as when everything in the areas mentioned above are going okay. In other works, if somethings goes wrong in one area that up to this point was blessed, then I am down in the dumps – again. I feel like I am sometime on a boat where the waves are rocking me to sickness. Ever been there?
The answer to really blessedness is not in what we posses but in understanding who posses us! God Himself and the wisdom that he makes available to us in the key to PEACE – LOVE – JOY – REJOICING – PURITY – RIGHTEOUSNESS.
